  • Avoid aggressive feed rates or deep cuts
  • Always ensure proper router speed and stable setup

Failure to follow these guidelines can result in bit breakage due to the small 3/16" diameter.

Important Safety and Care Information:  The small 3/16" diameter size can be sensitive to side load force because of its thin construction.  Be very aware of this when cutting thick material or taking too much material in one pass.  Statedwoods Supply does not warranty this bit after use do to possible improper use.  To extend the life of your bit, cut material that is less than half the bit’s diameter. Cutting on both sides of the bit generates excess heat, which can dull the bit faster and increase the risk of kickback due to the bit pulling material in the direction of spin. It’s also recommended to avoid using routers or shapers over 2 horsepower, as high-torque machines can cause damage, breakage, and shorten the bit’s lifespan.
